GDPR & Integritetspolicy

On 25 May 2018, the new data protection regulation GDPR will come into force. It replaces the Swedish Personal Data Act and applies as law in all EU countries. All companies, organizations and authorities must follow the new rules.

The main purpose of the Data Protection Ordinance is to improve the protection for you as a customer with us when your personal data is processed. This means, among other things, that you have the right to find out how we use the information we have about you and for what purpose. We use your personal information only in cases where you contact Hotell E10 or visit our website, read more under “Cookies” below. Hotel E10 follows the rules required by GDPR.

You can feel safe with us and if you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us at info@e-10.se.

About cookies
To give you as a visitor as good an experience of our website as possible, we use cookies.
Cookies are used to measure the traffic on our website and for statistics.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small amount of data that usually has a unique stamp on it. This data is sent from a website computer to your browser and stored there, on your hard drive, so that the website can recognize your computer. All websites can send cookies to your browser if your browser settings allow it. In order not to misuse this information, websites can only read information from cookies saved by themselves and not any cookies saved by other websites.

There are two types of cookies, permanent and temporary (so-called session cookies). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer for a longer period. Session cookies are temporarily placed on your computer when you visit a website, but disappear when you close the page, which means that they are not saved permanently on your computer. Most companies use cookies on their websites to improve usability and cookies can not damage your files or increase the risk of viruses on your computer.

As a user, you have the option to set if you want cookies to be saved automatically in your browser, if you want to be asked every time a cookie wants to be saved or if you want no cookies to be saved. Cookies are used on many websites, not just our site, to keep track of whether the browser has visited the website before and what choices have been made. At each visit to the website, a check is made as to whether cookies are stored in the browser or not. If there are no stored cookies from the website, the browser saves the cookies that are on the website.

Further information about cookies is available on the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency’s website, www.pts.se.
